CGFM Certification and CPE Requirements
Maintaining your CGFM

Every 2 years you must:

• Apply for certificate renewal
• Certify completion of 80 hours of CPEs
• Specify training sessions completed
• CPEs CANNOT be carried over

CPE deficiencies can be made up during the 1st Quarter of the calendar year following the renewal deadline. In general terms, CPEs for the CGFM could satisfy the requirements of certification for other organizations, such as AICPA or IIA. CPE compliance will be on a post audit basis.  The AGA may request CPE documentation for verification.  To qualify for CPEs, the program must: contribute to the individual's professional proficiency be sufficiently documented (if audited)
